JAY BASIAN
Co-Founder & Principal, Creative/Product Strategy & Real Estate Operations
Jay brings over two decades of experience as principal of Marland Management Services, a full-service real estate company. Demonstrating a keen eye for value creation, Jay has a solid investment track record, delivering meaningful returns through innovative solutions.
Throughout his career, Jay has sourced, executed and invested in numerous misunderstood real estate opportunities, applying his strategy to reposition and maximize value. Prior to Marland, Jay also worked at CBRE.
Jay attended Western University but departed after founding a real estate research business which he sold to Canada Trust after his junior year.
KAREN BASIAN
Co-Founder & Principal, Corporate Strategy, Finance & Governance
Karen brings over thirty years of experience as a senior executive and strategic thinker to 3NP, in addition to critical finance, governance and stewardship experience with an ability to build alignment behind transformative initiatives such as restructuring and M&A.
Karen currently serves as an independent corporate director on numerous public and private boards. Prior thereto, she was Chief Strategy Officer at McCain Foods & Frito-Lay, Chief Financial Officer at 724 Solutions , a Consultant with Bain & Company and a International Tax specialist with Deloitte.
Karen holds a BA with Honors from Western University, an MBA from IMEDE in Lausanne and is a Chartered Accountant.
